Dance Schedule for November 2010

Dances start promptly at 8:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm. Admission is $9. A contra dance lesson for beginners is given every Friday starting at 7:30 pm and is included in the price of admission.

November 5 -- Bill Olson calls to Ti' Acadie: Pam Weeks (fiddle, mountain dulcimer, and guitar), Jim Joseph (button accordion, 5-string banjo, mandolin, fiddle, jaw harp, percussion, and feet), Bill Olson (guitar and bass), and Ralph Gordon (bass).
This dance will be held in the Bumper Car Pavilion.

November 12 -- Delaura Padovan with the fabulous Glen Echo Open Band. Free admission for ages 17 and under.

November 19 -- Will Mentor calls to Notorious: Eden MacAdam-Somer on fiddle, Larry Unger on guitar/banjo, and friends.

November 26 -- Laura Brown calls for a special Thanksgiving dance with the Capitol Quicksteps Quadrille Orchestra: Steve Hickman, Julia Borland, Alexander Mitchell, fiddles; Susan Brandt, flute; Jonah Blaustein, clarinet; Dave Crandall, sax; Matt Irwin trumpet; John O’Loughlin, trombone; Ralph Gordon, cello; Jim Bienemann, bass; Larry Robinson, banjo and mandolin; John Devine, guitar; Marc Glickman, piano; Will Morrison, percussion.
