Dances start promptly at 8:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm. Admission is $9. A contra dance lesson for beginners is given every Friday starting at 7:30 pm and is included in the price of admission.

October 5 -- Adina Gordon calls to Crowfoot, who are Jaige Trudel on fiddle; Adam Broome on guitar; and Nicholas Williams on flute, accordion, & piano. With a fiery mix of traditional and contemporary Celtic music, Crowfoot is rapidly gaining a reputation from coast to coast as a hot contra dance band. Their energetic sound is full of spirit and groove, consistently delighting enthusiastic dancers and listeners alike. October 12 -- Jeremy Korr with the fabulous Glen Echo Open Band.
October 19 -- Ted Hodapp calls to the Metro Gnomes. The band has Barb Schmid and
McGregor Yatsevitch on fiddles, Mark Vidor on piano, and Bob Garber on clarinet.
This dance will be held in the Bumper Car Pavilion. October 26, Our special HALLOWEEN DANCE -- Gaye Fifer with Klezmos, a klezmer band with a contra-twist. The band features Marc Glickman on piano; Andrea Hoag on fiddle; Wendy Morrison on accordion; and Ralph Gordon on bass. This dance will also be a fundraiser for Glen Echo Park and admission will be $10 for the dance. Be sure to wear your finest costumes to get into the Halloween spirit.
