Dance Schedule for May 2006

Dances start promptly at 8:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm. Admission is $8. A contra dance lesson for beginners is given every Friday starting at 7:30 pm and is included in the price of admission.

May 5 -- (In the Bumper Car Pavillion)Ted Crane with The Elftones (Mara Shea (fiddle), Roger Gold (guitar); elftones.com), a popular, highly energetic North Carolina-based band.

May 12 -- Susan Taylor calls to the fabulous Glen Echo Open Band. Tonight's dance will be held in the Bumper Car Pavilion!

May 19 -- Beth Molaro calls to Crowfoot (Adam Broome (guitar, bouzouki), Jaige Trudel (fiddle), and Nicholas Williams (flute, accordion, piano); crowfootmusic.com), rapidly gaining a reputation as a hot dance band throughout the Eastern Seaboard. They earned raves when they played here last Halloween.

May 26 -- George Marshall and Tim Van Egmond call to legendary New England band Swallowtail (David Cantieni (winds), Ron Grosslein (fiddle), George Marshall (concertina), Timm Triplett (piano), Tim Van Egmond (hammered dulcimer); swallowtail.com)--one of our most popular bands! Come see why!
